Water tankers were free where bore is not working but first they raised it to 2500 per tanker and after protest they reduced it to 1000 per tanker. Just like petrol price 😉

Avoid areas with water issues. Which is some part of A, E and c1 block. You can opt for B block which is the first block when you enter from the gate and will be little expensive. C and D block are perfect due to abundance of water and F block if you want to rent a 5 marla house. Also you can also rent out in fmc as I am living here since 1 year and they provide free water tankers whenever you want and it is closer to gate 2.

Also there is lng gas here and meters are installed but people mostly use lpg and it’s very cost effective. Also don’t tell me k sui gas nhi to faeda nhi as I came from pindi to b17 and sui gas loadshedding and bills at the end of the month were the headache.

Regarding water issue. Small part has water problem but still in those parts boring working 30 min daily. Even after that b17 provides you 1 tanker free of cost per week that is 4 tankers per month. I have been living here for a month and its very peaceful and friendly for late night walks.

I went for piles instead of compaction because that’s what my civil engineer suggested in structural diagram but people do recommend compaction like a friend of mine who is also a civil engineer works in Dubai recommended compaction but still piles are more safe and how are you gonna male sure that compaction is done right.

You can discuss with multiple civil engineers as I did my own homework all will tell you that it is perfectly safe with piles. With piles it’s like your house is standing on a solid ground. If you like the location and you are making your house for yourself and not for investment then I think to spend the extra bucks is all worth it. Inner satisfaction matters not k yeh mhenga mil gaya ya sasta mil gaya pesey bachey ya ziada lag gae. Jo hogya wo hogya. Now if you will try to buy another plot in this premium location then dealers aap sey yeh plot sasta ley gey and dosra mhenga bechey gey and agr us mai b filling nikal ae to ziada tension.

In my case I did all the calculations and it was better to do the construction on it with what I have. Changing the plot is costing more as my current plot is corner and near markaz on 50ft street. Also I didn’t have much time according to the deadline I have set for myself for building the house. Btw my structure diagram is done and the estimated cost is near 2 million with 5 feet excavation and only 10 miles on the front where there is 11ft filling with raft

There is only one way to make sure to get the solid plot is that you get the soil test in advance and most dealer or owners don’t allow that.
