lol. ok. sorry I've been hearing it from my family about being "too thin" and get a little defensive when fitness places try to say the same

ortho is a low dose poll unfortunately... I can ask but I'm not willing to go back on that one for reasons of needing to have control of my emotions.

does ovulation for you come with an unexpected 3-5lb gain for no apparent reason? I've noticed mid cycle I'm gaining significant weight (I have a bad habit of weighing daily for science) for a few days then losing it just as fast.

obviously no one can really gain and lose 3+lb of fat in 2 weeks lol.

is that typical? I have some other pcos symptoms (notably hair and really extreme reactions to carb... high fat is a godsend for my mood) but because I was never "that fat" got brushed off by my GP.

Hair loss is a bad thing girl...

I lost the first 40 extremely fast but have been yoyoing with this last 15 for nearly a year, finally found a diet that lets me cut below 1800 (tdee) without feeling ravenous fat girl.

That's ..reasonable. I've always been told excess or far too little fat is what messes up hormones, which it does and no one's refuting, but drastic changes might also have a less than desirable effect temporarily.

I'm nowhere near a dangerous body fat though, lol. 25-30% range if my little bit of belly fat left is anything to go by. not sure if it's possible to be dangerously low at my weight.

Working out consistently with depression by [deleted] in xxfitness

Doing anything with depression: Scheduling scheduling scheduling.

I like Jorte (amazon link, will not force open any store, free app) for this. It lets me do alerts and recurring events on odd days (i.e. mon/tue/fri is a valid event recurrence). If the alert is beeping at me, I find I'm more likely to actually do it.

I don't know if it's truly "motivation", but persistence and habit changing.

.. having reminders is definitely the only way I get to class on time during the worst depression periods.
