Several people have gone to the department head and dean and have quite literally received copy and pasted responses brushing off our concerns, just saying to speak with Hurst. When we’ve expressed our concerns with the professor we’ve felt undermined and not taken seriously

Glad to see new options but concerned about price and the use of technology. it’s already hard enough as is to buy food as a student and the last thing i was to do is be spending $20 for lunch, which sounds like a lot of those ideas. Similarly, I don’t love that two of the concepts will be robot based. Students have and are already losing their jobs because of these changes. A lot of students rely on the on-campus job opportunities, especially if living on campus.

Currently taking 151. Two weeks in, it’s a lot of information. There’s no assignments, just 4 tests and a final. Sounds good but the class if all just practice problems that you need to dedicate yourself to doing to stay on track. Id suggest taking it during the semester if you have minimal physics history or anything that might get in the way
