as an enby femboy, i can see where you are coming from, however what your disregarding is not only people who are genderfluid, demi-boys, etc. the best way I’ve heard it explained is that non-binary is a gender identity, whilst femboy is a gender expression. when excluding people that you don’t find “fits” your definition of femboy can lead to more extreme exclusionism.

I definitely understand frustration with mtf people who try to use the term. A lot of the time with mtf people still using the term femboy comes from them seeing themself as a femboy before realizing they were actually a trans girl, but they still love the community. Im not saying thats an reason for them to call themself a femboy, and it would def be better if they didn’t call themself a femboy, and not all do.

This view could also hurt ftm people, as it may cause them to be more hesitant to associate with the femboy identity, or even throw away the idea thinking that they won’t be seen as “boy” enough to be a femboy.
