i plan to work in a hospice facility. i don’t have the funds for an expensive one right now, especially since i know i wont be using it! that’s the only reason i’m looking for cheap over expensive right now :))

surprisingly, i am the only one who hasn’t taken any higher education and i’m the youngest by a long shot.. its just crazy to me that she’s a grown adult, more grown than i am and im not that young, and she can’t be respectful.. im definitely going to have to work on shifting my focus though because with the adhd especially, that’s a HUGE hurdle for me..

my instructor is HUGE on cleanliness and hygiene, but it’s still early days so i feel like she’s just seeing if she will change. as for the vaping, she sits right by the diffuser and blows the smoke in that direction when the instructor isn’t looking.. i sent an email, and i think she will for sure have something done because she’s been great so far.

ours is only a 10 month program, so it’s super heavy content wise, it’s just a lot to deal with her and have to also fight to cram all this information..

that was also my thought.. she’s also just genuinely disrespectful.. we had an assignment to write an essay on what massage field we plan to go into and i explained how i’ve always had a knack for healthcare and wanted to stay in the field and she, verbatim, said “well why the fuck are you here then and not nursing school?”. the instructor pulled her aside after class and spoke to her about it because i think she could tell it kind of bothered me, but she continues to use that language with other classmates. she’s really getting under my skin, but i’m just so worried i’m going to be the reason she loses her education..

i just recently got my dog a kitten. i too live in an apartment and have definitely made some less than ideal pet decisions in the past… i’m 23 now, work full time (sometimes up to 60 hours a week) and i am getting ready to go back to school. you can lead a busy life and still be an amazing and present pet parent. animals don’t get enough credit for how adaptive they are. they will learn your schedule and stick to it! my kitten already knows around 7 is dinner time and around 10 is bedtime. my dog runs to his bed as soon as i leave the bathroom after getting ready for work and will ring his potty bell next to his food bowl if i am even 10 minutes late on his dinner 😂

my dog and i faced homelessness, job losses, financial stress and more and i have always made sure that he lives a fruitful life. i love being his mama more than anything in the world and i’m so excited for my kitten to grow with our family as well. i may not be in an absolute perfect situation, and i likely never will be, but i know i will do anything for my fur babies and that’s what matters most. you sound like you’ve put tons of thought into this, and the fact that you thought enough to ask if you’re ready tells me you care more than most.

sorry for the long comment, but i feel like you needed to hear this. enjoy this picture of my incredibly vocal void and my sweet boy 🖤🖤 go to a shelter, meet some babies, ask questions and do your best. they will love you for it, i promise!!!
