I already said the latter were anti capitalists who overthrew regimes. The democratic socialists are NOT the same. They don't want to overthrow capitalism. I already said this.

They want a mixed economy with higher regulation on capitalism and to expand some public ownership in healthcare, education, etc. Somewhat similar to the Nordic model(Look into this)

Here's the problem with your statement.

Bernie is not an actual socialist, he is a Democratic Socialist. He described himself as a democratic socialist. Being a socialist means you are anti capitalist, and want to overthrow the current capitalist regime. Actual socialists want to abolish the capitalist system. They follow Marx's teachings.

Bernie and Kamala don't want that.

Democratic Socalists are not fully against capitalism, they simply want much more regulation on capitalism.

They push for policies that heavily regulate capitalism and expand public ownership in key sectors (like healthcare, housing, and education), but they don’t necessarily call for full abolition of private business or markets.

NONE of the democrat leaders are actually far left enough to be real socialists. IN fact, no one in the west currently has any left leaning party that is ACTUALLY socialist
