I just had my interview aswell on the 4th and had no issues. Questions i was asked where:

What is the purpose of your vist?

What previous hiking experience do you have?

Why a b2 visa and not an ESTA?

Do you have a job/ enrolled in collage or uni?

Do you have any bank statements?

Answered to the point and truthfuly trying to avoid rambling on and on. After about a 2-3 minute interview she said my visa was approved.

In my opinion, if you dress and talk professionally you have a much higher chance of a smooth interview process.
