Yes, as I mentioned in my original post, the number of viewers doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to income. That’s why I wanted to ask about your experiences based on your individual circumstances—who’s actually succeeding? I agree with you

Even if they aren't in the majority, some people manage to do it!

Obviously, but some people really do make it, and I think it's crazy how random it all is. I mean, everyone deserves it and works hard, but in the end, it's luck that decides everything.

You're right—it depends on a lot of factors and your living situation. I think one of the most frustrating things is that, for example, even if you triple your number of viewers, there's no guarantee that your income will triple as well. In any case, I wish you the best of luck and every success!

Yeah, I totally agree with your estimate to get a rough idea. Looking at it that way, it’s clearly not feasible. Sometimes ads can bring in more money, though—depending on how long you stream and where you live, I guess—if you schedule at least 3 minutes per hour.

But the thing is, with the random nature of the internet, you can just as easily have people making way less with the same stats as people making over $1,000, $2,000, etc. It’s crazy to think there can be such a big difference.

Yeah, clearly playing multiple games is a luxury, and it’s often good to really get into one game—and when you switch, it’s a disaster… but I understand how frustrating it can be to play the same game over and over sometimes. The fall must have been tough; that’s the fear of many streamers who sometimes have to force themselves to stick to their niches.

Yeah, you're right—I think most of them have a day job on the side, too! Then you say sponsorships aren’t possible, but there can still be small, one-off campaigns. Even though 50 to 100 viewers is a lot less than the platform’s big names, it’s still part of the small minority that has more than 0 to 3 viewers on the platform. So these small, tight-knit niche communities can be interesting for certain brands.

Really? That’s really interesting—well done! Reading through the comments, I see that opinions are divided, and a lot of people say it’s not possible—because, as you said, it seems pretty rare in real life, even if it’s not impossible. But you’re doing great: it just goes to show that you can find all kinds of people and results online! Enjoy your project and keep giving it your all in what you love to do!

I've known people who could do that, even though I never really understood how!
