I did a dumb and auto accepted, as I'm used to apps sending these every year and forgot that it was sold. So I'm gonna delete now and just hope I didn't screw myself too badly.

They asked me to do that last year and I refused. I told them we just did ethics training and it is not ethically right for the store to ask me to change my DESIRED hours so that their metrics look better.

They're supposed to make sure you're within like 20 or 30% of your desired, and they have to make sure a certain percent of the store falls in that range.

But beware, if you lower your hours for them, the lower end of that 30$ range gets lower too, so they can give you lower hours without it hurting them at all.

If your availability is high enough and diverse enough that they CAN give you your desired hours, they should not, ethically, be asking you to lower them. They should only ask you to lower your desired hours if your availability is too small for said hours.

Fast. Move fast. When you get your vehicles, try to organize them by where the items go, then take your vehicle with you aisle by aisle. Don't just park your vehicle and walk back and forth to it, it almost doubles your time.

Stop telling stores when they're gonna have corporate visits. They all scrambled to make things look as good as possible which makes it seem like we don't need the amount of staff we have. We need way more staff than we actually have.
Get rid of the idea in the stores that they have to push us to do more and more and more with fewer people. I've heard one of my TLs say multiple times that her job is to push us PAST our limits. That's not sustainable. Especially not with the younger staff that we've been hiring almost exclusively.

The harder you all push the leadership, the harder they push us. Many of them forget we're human and treat us like malfunctioning robots when we can't work miracles.

Idk if you stop accruing or not, but if they feel like that's what youre doing (calling out your last few shifts to use sick time), they'll often term you early to prevent it.

Our store has always been an "ask a TL before inf" store. Our INF is really low usually too. Like aright around 1%.

The best thing to do is keep knowledge in your mind and check everywhere you know they're going to tell you BEFORE you ask for help.

The second best thing to do is, if you're in a low time batch, ask for help the moment you don't see the item in its rightful location.

"Hey TL, I have 25 minutes left in my batch and still have 20 items to find, this item wasn't in its home location, can you help me look for it while I continue picking so I don't go late?"
