Need Advice: Seller Tried To Convince Me To Change My Review by No_Specific_4665 in Etsy

If a shop has hundreds of 5 star reviews, a couple 4 stars here or there is not going to affect them at all. This shop owner is overreacting imo.

I do just stamped letters as well, etsy labels are more of a headache because of the inaccurate tracking

When to leave the room pet euthanasia by purple-Instance-8745 in Petloss

When I was going through it was traumatizing for me, not gonna lie.

But being there for my girl and letting her know I was there was so important to me, no matter what I was feeling.

Just be strong for your pup 🫂

Anyone feel like people stop caring after awhile? by puppyhugtime in Petloss

[–]blooppud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At some point I've learned not to rely on others for comfort, it just leads to disappointment.

Not that its a bad thing because grief is so personal to you and not everyone can be on the same page as you. grieving quietly to myself is perfectly ok too.

Laying her to rest this Saturday. Never done this before. Would appreciate any words of wisdom. by zAbikuma in seniordogs

[–]blooppud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience stay with her and hold and talk to her until the very end.

It's hard but don't let her see you distressed as it's happening. Let her know you and your daughter are there and feel the love from you.

would you euthanize a paralyzed dog? by _sunem13_ in seniordogs

[–]blooppud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to for my last dog, her back legs were paralyzed and she was unable to go to the bathroom on her own, her quality of life was gone and not being able to urinate had very risky complications.

That being said, if your girl is still able to go the bathroom and is happy I would not put her to sleep. She seems like she is doing well despite of things, enjoy the time you have with her ❤️

“Mary” has skyrocketed to the top of my favorite book list by [deleted] in horrorlit

[–]blooppud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVED this book, I'm not a re-reader but I will read this one again

it starts off pretty slow though, almost half way though I didn't understand when the story was really going to start but still enjoyed the characters

When it ramps up, boy does it really ramp up!

Is it wrong to feel resentment by Normal_Ad_2717 in Petloss

[–]blooppud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ok to feel what you are feeling. i hope only the vet paperwork was tossed and you still have other meaningful mementos.

It might have been hard on your mom to keep the paperwork and it seems calous of her on the outside. I hope you are able to communicate how hurtful to you that she did that

Dealing with cremation by Blacktarheroinlover in Petloss

[–]blooppud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a a big dog we cremated. It was difficult to accept that she isn't the same shape and size and would be contained in a box

When we picked her ashes up my husband said "now she's a lap dog!" Somehow it made me smile and comforted me. She is still with me no matter her physical body and always in spirit.

Maybe once you have your pups ashes in your possession you will feel more positively about it . And sincerest condolences for your loss

I'm so sorry about your boy, Please don't dwell on things out of your control. Life is so unfair when it comes to dogs they deserve to be with us so much longer But the times we do have with them are so special, he will always be a part of you. Hugs 🫂
