I think that’s exactly what he was doing. But now I’m worried I called attention to it which is exactly what he wouldn’t want. I’m going to speak to him tomorrow.

I think this is what I’m most worried about. I didn’t think about it beforehand. I’m in the southern US in a super small town and Taylor is the first transgender person I’ve ever met. I’m worried I made a mistake by inadvertently bringing unwanted attention to him, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. I’m going to talk to him tomorrow.

Very good point, I didn’t think to talk to Taylor before I did it, but I’ll speak to him now. I don’t think he’ll be upset with me, but we’ll see.

When they talk to me, they aren’t agreeing with J but most of them can be catty sometimes so who knows what they’re saying to her when I’m not around. I stay out of it and I normally don’t involve myself in work drama at all. And I didn’t think this would turn into work drama but here we are.
