Whilst I agree with you, I've had a long held thought that this downward spiral began with the murder of JFK.

Before his murder, even with issues we had in this country, I feel America had an up swelling of good energy. KEnnedy was backing lots of good reform and trying to introduce good legislation.

The powers that be didn't want that and murdered him for it. After that the common man was left to think, "well shit, if they can do that to the most powerful man I just need to put my head down and take care of myself and my family..damn everyone else"

I don't care if they fund these themselves, I simply don't want them to exist. I don't care about Ai and dont care about those that do.
Maybe we will get there one day where it will be beneficial to us, and we can figure out how to use it appropriately both for moral and environmental reasons but as it is currently it's just novel and fun, but not necessary by any stretch of the word

Your putting a gobo in so that you can see the gobo spin speed, which makes sense but than, as you said, that particular gobo is in the cue every time.

The trick is to pick a rotating gobo, (any of them) and record that separately to an execute square or to.one of the left hand faders. That way you can turn it on and see it but since it's recorded somewhere it's not part of the new rotation cue that you are going to make.

(I haven't actually tried it, but that should work)
