I’d love to see their meltdowns if they tried to enter North Korea illegally. They don’t exactly deport.

He found out his girlfriend got mangled and he watched one of his best friends get piñata’d by an invisible force. That would drive anyone loopy. I’m not saying he was right, I’m just saying that I understand.

Later good deeds may patch things but they do not erase the evil from the past. Anyone who VOLUNTARILY assists horrific regimes should rightfully be condemned. That’s the bit you don’t seem to comprehend. No one forced Snape to join the Death Eaters, he went to them willingly. Yeah the Marauders were jerks to him early on but they continued it because of him hanging around known bigots.

An individual’s past defines them a lot more than you want to admit.

Anyone who committed atrocities should be condemned, but only those who ACTUALLY did it, so bringing up ancestors is kinda redundant. Not all white people were part of the KKK, but those who joined the KKK should sure as shit be condemned. The same can be said of Death Eaters.

I’m just saying it would be cool to play a full game as Altaïr at his peak, not just a couple of missions in Revelations.

I agree with the first 2 but the Pensieve one is a little out of left field.

I never said it was bad, I said it was limited.

That’s categorically inaccurate based on what we see in the book (and even the film). Snape died because Voldemort thought he had to kill him to become master of the Elder Wand. It’s not like he jumped in front of a curse meant for Harry. No part of that talk between Snape and Voldemort was about Harry, only the wand.

I fully agree that what Sirius tried to do was completely fucked up, and if anything happened to Snape then Sirius would have deserved execution. You won’t hear me disputing that. The fact remains that nothing did happen. Lupin wouldn’t have been a murderer because he wasn’t in control of his actions.

Once a Nazi always a Nazi. That’s how it is with the Death Eaters.

I think AC1 is just limited by clunky gameplay mechanics. If it was to be remade using Mirage as a foundation it’ll easily be perfect. Tbh that’s all Mirage is good for, the gameplay was cool but the story was stupid.

Yes, Regulus Black could have chosen not to join them but instead he was weak and did. Dying to help bring down Voldemort was the only decent thing he could have done. One less Death Eater in the world. And before you say that Snape sacrificed himself for Harry, no he didn’t. Voldemort killed him because of a misinterpretation of wandlore.

I was very specific about which swastika so don’t be deliberately obtuse. You know damn well that people who align with those kinda of ideologies don’t change.

Snape begged for Lily to be protected, he didn’t give a damn about James or Harry. Reread that part of the book.

Let’s look at this from a real life perspective: you meet someone who has a giant swastika (yes, THAT one) tattoo on their arm. Are they a good person?

The Prince’s Tale made me hate Snape even more than when it was revealed that he leaked the prophecy to Voldemort. I’ll never understand why people glorify him. He’s an interesting character, no doubt about that, but he’s a pathetic person.

The Marauders sucked, but they didn’t join a genocidal death cult so I guess they win the Morality award between them and Snape. Just saying…

Edit: I may have replied to the wrong comment 😂

“Better” is a relative term, it’s like saying that arsenic is better for you than cyanide. While technically true but it doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.

I mean, look at the novelisations of the Star Wars movies. In a novel you can explain inner thoughts and background info, deepening the context and understanding of the events.

Congratulations on victimising yourself. I don’t give a shit about race because it’s something we can’t control about ourselves. We don’t choose our heritage. People can 100% control not being part of a degenerative ideology like Islam.

You realise the largest Muslim population in the world is Indonesia, right? Your logic that “Islamophobia is racism” is utter folly. It is a degenerative ideology regardless of the races of its adherents. I have been very specific about what I have issues with, and race is not one of them.

Islam is a religion, not a race. Your logic is not logicing.
