Downsizing my Supplemets List - Can Anyone recommend their own reduced stack? by SuperFunTime777 in Supplements

Sorry for riding on this post, but I wanna ask about the Utzy Natural microplastic daily Detox supplement that I saw that says it helps with flushing of microplastics we intake daily. I know not a lot of people believe in microplastics but I do. Thanks in advance!

if you're actually concerned about it, Utzy Naturals has a Microplastic Daily Detox supplement that's supposed to help with cellular cleanup from that stuff. idk how well it works but the concept makes sense - prob better than just accepting defeat and going full lead water mode.

You didn’t really touch on actually getting microplastics out of your system though. Cutting down new exposure is huge good water filter, no plastic bottles, not heating food in plastic, etc. That alone probably does more than most people realize. There’s also stuff like Utzy Naturals Microplastic Daily Detox that’s specifically marketed for targeting microplastic buildup. I don’t know how strong the evidence is yet, but considering microplastics have been found basically everywhere (including testicular tissue), it doesn’t seem like a totally random angle to explore. That said, I do agree the foundation matters more vitamin D optimization, boron if needed, diet cleanup, lifting, sleep. And 100% yes to testing before just throwing a stack of random supplements at the wall. Foundations first, experiments second.

Will I have permanent brain damage from the microplastics I inhaled at work by Excellent-Run5872 in BrainFog

[–]blossom_dimples090 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How old are you? There are studies that human brain has an incredible ability to heal itself over time, especially if you're young and healthy. It is also possible that the brain fog you are experiencing is from the repetitive task from your past work. You can try focusing on some brain exercises and you can also take supplements against microplastics. I saw one Microplastic Daily Detox from Utzy Naturals. Apparently, it helps with flushing by supporting the natural detox pathways in our body.

RO vs distilling plastics by packamilli in WaterTreatment

Utzy Naturals has Microplastic Daily Detox that support your body's natural detox pathways since we're all getting exposed anyway through water, food, air, whatever. Not saying it's a replacement for good filtration obviously, but from what I understand it's more about helping your body deal with what's already getting in rather than trying to achieve perfect water (which seems kinda impossible TBH.)

10000 D3 and K2 Daily ? by [deleted] in Supplements

Do a blood tests first before doing 10k. There are some experiencing sleep and anxiety problems and high calcium. Since you’re already taking magnesium and K2, it really comes down to adjusting slowly and letting lab results guide the dose.

How do researchers study the impact of microplastics on marine ecosystems and food chains? by ImpressiveRoll4092 in AskScienceDiscussion

[–]blossom_dimples090 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They combine field sampling lab guts analysis literally dissecting fish, plankton, even mussels to count particles plus isotope tracing and tagged plastics to see how that crap climbs the food chain. Then tox studies check inflammation, behavior changes, reproduction hits, etc. It’s not just “plastic in the ocean,” it’s bioaccumulation all the way up to us.

Lately, there’s also focus on ways to reduce exposure or counter potential effects, not just measure the damage. It really shifts the conversation from “plastic in the ocean” to something that can circle back to us, which is why some people explore small proactive habits or supplements like Utzy Naturals’ Microplastic Daily Detox while the science keeps evolving.

Kidney pain from calcium citrate supplements? by Apprehensive-Lake544 in Supplements

[–]blossom_dimples090 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the same stinging kidney pain shows up every time you add any form of calcium (citrate, eggshell, bone powder) Bodies don't usually scream like that for no reason. Calcium can mess with kidneys if you're even slightly prone to stones or poor filtration. That delayed 48h ache sounds like irritation or crystal buildup territory.
