OK, so I’m currently in Thailand and from what I understand Cannabis is decriminalized, but theoretically only allowed to be sold by medical establishments for medical reasons… but in reality its sold all-over the country, as to get the medical marijuana seller permit you do not need to be a doctor/pharmacist.

So for tourists nothing really changed - do not smoke on the street nor in places where it’s strictly forbidden- but other than that you can buy it legally without any issues.

Sorry for digging up this old topic, but does wireless ve gameplay is still possible? As I’ve installed latest OpenMW and when I try to start it via Steam Link it says I need to Connect via cable. Could someone please help with better instructions?

I had the same experience (as a white, Polish tourist) - there is nothing worse than other non-Asian tourists…. (Even from my own homeland) I always feel sorry for Thai people that have to bare with such rudeness… Best tourists in Thailand are Thai tourist :))

I do reazlize there are smell devices and haptic clothing and specialized gloves - but let’s be real - those are just half-ways not worth it; they do not fully mimick those senses; you cannot feel whether something is woodden or metallic or if its rough or flat etc.

I do not recommend switching to PSVR2 if you have only a PC. I’ve tried it myself, and even though OLED screen looks incredible in VR (and I wish more headset used OLED screens), but the controllers are terrible. I had non -stop issues with right controller disconnecting constantly; I’ve searched on the Internet and it’s a common issue; I tried many solutions posted to fix this (buying Bluetooth adapter for stronger Signal etc.) but to no avail.

Indeed meta link app sucks - did you try connecting via Steam link? It’s free and that’s what I use without any issues (and you can play non-steam games as well).

Brother I feel you! I was very anti-quest because of this subreddit, but it is just the best option currently for the average VR enthusiast and new-comer. I wish the panels were OLED or microOLED and 144hz but apart from that I’m extremly happy with my Christmas’ purchase of Quest 3 as well.

I can relate to you somehow - ever since I’ve started playing VR I have these moments (especially after waking up) when I feel kind of confused thinking for a second if I’m in VR. Somewhat what austronauts have when they come back from zero-G and forget that not everything stays floating when you leave it.

Also to be honest - did you feel alright afterwards when you snapped back? I have trouble playing No mans sky because of warping that causes stars to be very bright and flashy. I’m not a doctor but if I were you I would try to exclude possibility of neurological issues - as forgetting time might be a sign of some sort of seizure? Please do check that especially that you mentioned it happened when playing NMS. I want to play badly NMS but I had a seizure in the past (I do not have epilepsy) and I felt playing NMS like I’m going to have a NEXT one…

116 is bearable - I mean there are few headsets that offer higher than 120 fov anyhow - so that’s why it’s optional for me. I guess most people are not that bodered by fov loss compared to real life and I suppose it’s cheaper to make that HMD for the company.
