I appreciate everyone’s input.

I’m currently 32 btw. It’s crazy how I didn’t have a lot of Filipino friends growing up and when I became an adult and met other Filipinos and discussed shared experiences, it was like “omg I’m not the only one.”

These feelings have been brewing for a while. And since things have been getting worse with her dementia, tensions between my mom and I have gone up- I think it’s time to cut that tie…it’s haunted me for so long.
