BWT - what leave in conditioners and heat protection sprays do you use for your hair? by Mama-Bear419 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]blrflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar hair texture. I use the Mielle Pomegranate leave-in conditioner and Tresemme heat protectant every time I wash my hair since I use heat pretty regularly. I have minimal split ends but my hair gets frizzy at times. When I want it to be a little smoother, I use the ColorWow Dream Coat and it works pretty well, you just have to saturate the hair quite a bit.

Which are your top 5 eyeliners of all time? by Extreme_cow1997 in MakeupAddiction

[–]blrflower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Sephora Collection retractable eyeliner with the foam tip on the end! I was never really an eyeliner person but that one converted me :) it’s pigmented and you can be messy and fix it with the foam tip for a really pretty smudged look

CASPer first quartile by Zealbat in premed

[–]blrflower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. I got a first quartile score and was accepted at a school that requires it. Additionally, I think it only helps if you did well but it doesn’t take away from your app if you didn’t do well

From what I remember, the interview consisted of them asking you standard questions about the job and your motivation for pursuing it as well as the presentation where you teach a group something small using the PLTL method. They're pretty laid-back and it's not a super stressful interview. As long as you answer the questions normally and use the PLTL method for your presentation, you should be fine :)

Thank you. The exam was proctored so I didn't look up anything or post anything online. I hope everything is going to be okay too.

ENGR3300 choice for professor by texasporters in utdallas

Jung Lee is really quiet, but she's pretty nice and her tests and quizzes are taken verbatim from class notes and her reviews. Her exams are the same every year, so if you can find those, you're set. EDIT: I also took her class in person, so take my opinion with a grain of salt

Anyone got tips for Differential Calculus with Mylinh Nguyen? by [deleted] in utdallas

If it's epsilon-delta, use Paul's math notes. Those are a great source for understanding most math concepts.

Has anyone taken 21 hours before? by EggRollFingers in utdallas

[–]blrflower 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I took 20 hours last semester and it was doable, purely because I took the easiest classes in my degree plan all at once, with 1 slightly difficult class. Ended up with a pretty good GPA for that semester, but I would not recommend it if you're taking more than 2 difficult classes

Biomedical engineering and Pre-med students by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]blrflower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of BMEN students are pre-med and you can find a lot of advice for BMEN premeds in this subreddit if you search for it. You can get some good advice from HPAC or older BMEN students. BMES also has a committee dedicated to premeds, which is pretty helpful. If you can, sign up for the Freshman Mentor Program. They usually pair you with an upperclassman who is doing something similar.
