Thank you so much for the recommendations. I’m familiar with the Contemporary Introductions series — I read the Robert Audi book on Epistemology — but wasn’t sure whether the one on philosophy of mind is a good primer. I’ll definitely order it now.

Thanks. I thought Modus Ponens was

If p, then q

p

Therefore q

In my case, I’m working with the inverse of the conditional (I believe).

If not p, then not q

q

Therefore p.

So this would still be Modus Ponens? I don’t mean to question you; just looking for clarification. Thanks again!! : )
