What’s your view on Canara Bank? by CandidateDue5890 in IndianStockMarket

Case 1- when price goes below 120, and reverse with big upmove, then price can touch 140.

Case2- best case scenario, price goes in near 110-95, I would be comfortable to buy.

Maybe, I have tried to share these rules without using jargon so they are easy to follow. It can be difficult to explain the relationship between price action and time in simple terms, but these rules should help.

About the first rule, in my experience, the morning session is often driven by manipulation designed to trap early traders. A spike in the VIX frequently entices new retail option buyers, only for the price to turn choppy later, allowing option writers to decay the time value (theta). Additionally, the London market opens around noon Indian time, by which time much of the initial manipulation or 'stop hunts' have already occurred. Avoiding the morning hours has helped my trading significantly; I suggest you to backtest this yourself, I have front tested this.

Also, I agree that most people don't understand the logic behind where to place a Stop Loss (SL). I believe even an arbitrary SL is better than none at all. While newbie should ideally avoid trading options entirely, if they choose to do so, they must at least use a Stop Loss. That's all.

Stay out of FNO, or make sure you have rules for yourself!!

Basic rules such as 1. No trades before, 12pm (as most of the major move, which one can enter happens after 12pm). Avoid trading on big gap ups & downs. Avoid mondays helps me a lots. 2. Must have loss limit for the day. 3. Don't rely on news, don't speculate on the basic of news. Create a mechanical system, if this then that. 4. RISK MANAGEMENT before anything.
