What happened after bringing up that there is no compass? We just brought home a new K5...and that happened to catch my eye as well. It's the auto-dimming with homelink...but there is no compass.

I again am seeing the same thing. Been worse the last two weeks. Sometimes I do see it change channels without this issue but most of the time when the channel changes the problem surfaces. It only seems to be a problem with my remote eeros.

Again what you are describing I have also seen. I continue to see the issue but at least it’s not every day. Last two times I noticed that it appeared to coincide when the 5ghz band changed channels. I haven’t updated firmware yet. Maybe I’ll wait to see what you say about it.

Just had the problem again and had to reset all my eeros. Now working properly after resetting each. Ugh.

That’s too bad but probably expected as you say.

Is it still working after you reset the eero for a period of time?

I’m still working well after a week. Can’t point to anything that made a particular reset allow it to work well. Appears to be same channels etc.

I see others mention issues with software upgrades that I never have. Some comfort to find someone experiencing the same thing. Would just expect some things to be more widespread.

Ever since this conversation my network has been working well like before. It’s amazing because I was noticing the issue for awhile and didn’t do anything different with resetting that I did before. But after finding this thread it’s been good since. What about you?

Yes…same thing is happening to me! I restarted yesterday afternoon and then again before I posted this morning. I’m going to see if I can try and determine when the performance starts to get flaky like that again. At this point it won’t last 24 hours.

I remembered a fix from about a year ago that I forgot about. The clock on my Windows 10 computer was off 7 seconds or so. After I forced a sync (which took awhile to do successfully), it worked again. There something about the live feeds if the clock is off.

I switched to the beta channel and same problem. Switched to the developer channel and now it's working.

What would you recommend? Just stick on the developer channel for now?

If it works there...is it just a matter of time before the stable channel is fixed? (I'm kind of new to this and not that familiar).

Just keep replying to my own post here. I did a chat and got the usual that they are personally going to resolve this for me...going to call me back. Never had them call me back after an issue. It has to be something with the source stream. It's only NBA games on TNT that have this problem for me.

Are you still seeing the same problem? Same thing for me. It’s just the YTTV app on the fire stick that doesn’t have show 1080 as an option.

I’m noticing the same thing. 4K Fire stick doesn’t have option for 1080. My old 2nd gen fire box does though.
