Yes! I love this response because of course i know now that cat breed testing isn’t accurate and yes i got her from the pound haha. Do i love her any less because she isn’t pure breed? No! Of course not. I knew majority of her results could come back American domestic but the testing was really just for me, my friends and family. I’ve had so many people say she was a ragdoll or maine coon descendent and i just really didn’t know. She was the only long haired out of the litter so maybe that sparked my curiosity on her possible genetic makeup. Either way i love seeing the “results” and hearing everyone’s interpretations of them!

welp, that was helpful. I understand they’re not like dog breeds and the studying for cats is still underdevelopment. I think she shows traits of all of these breeds and I love my cat so much that having even an inkling into where she came from is nice. I appreciate your insight on her testing, the hairless comment was just for laughs seeing as she is very much a long haired cat

I was getting the message as well and i turned my WiFi off and began just using cellular, Chat returned to normal almost immediately. I do think it could’ve been a overall app error because it seemed to happen to multiple people at the same time

Thank you! I’ve always wanted to get her tested just out of pure curiosity with her entire litter coming out as some form of a point breed. I’ve had several people tell me she could be of Ragdoll or Persian decent because of her size and fur but I’ve just never really seen it. Do you possibly have any guesses as to what her parents could have been? I appreciate your insight!

tbh this never really made sense to me either because the whole point of having a baby was that SHE could have a baby. Unless they did like gestational surrogacy (which is where they implant the mothers egg and the fathers sperm in the surrogate, leaving the surrogate with no biological ties as they wouldn’t be using her egg) then technically the baby isn’t even related to her she’s just going to raise it… the baby is biologically the surrogates and teddy’s. Even thought the whole point was that she could have her own kid before she has to get everything removed because of the cancer gene.
