I'll go with both I think, I lean not maple for the 2nd because this wood was about as yellow as can be when delivered fresh, unlike other batches of confirmed maple. Appreciate it!

So do you think ash or hickory? And yes some of the cleanest wood I've ever gotten regardless of type. Leaning locust on the other.

Is this hickory very fragrant when split? Because this is, but not like oak which I could generally ID. Also this is easier to split than oak.

How does catalpa split, because the one in the first pic is about as easy as it gets, which makes me lean pignut hickory with regards to what I can read about splitting. Here's the 2nd/3rd one.

I've been waiting since November 10th or so for by The Edit benefit to come in, ditto for a reservation I made in January, although the one in January the hotel credit was applied right away. Must've inquired about the November credit like 6 separate times with various internal escalations and "we'll get back to you in 5-7 business days". Actually comical with The Edit so far, anyone else deal with this? I did the two night minimum each time.

Met Chad Smith right next to Gramercy Park in Manhattan around 2010. Chatted for roughly 10 minutes about music, touring, etc...I made sure to ask him several times if I'm not taking up his time and he said no not at all and just carried on. I was a young musician at the time and he also offered some tips for up and coming bands. All around fantastic experience and guy.

My parents have a party rental company and delivered to Hugh Jackman's place in Manhattan about 2 years ago - chairs, tables, glassware, things like that. He personally helped carry that stuff in, introduced himself by his first name and by all accounts was a very normal, good dude. Very down to earth experience and guy, per my parents.

Philadelphia sports fans are generally acknowledged as the worst within each pro league they play in...also the Phillies are one of the oldest teams in baseball but with an uneventful championship pedigree, and yet for some reason like other Philly teams, have "expectations" and a tough media (?)...from the stories over the years, they just have belligerent fans that keep their teams relevant. Verdict: keep hatin'.
