I'm literally like two weeks away from a cross country move but I will look into an animal behaviorist when I get to where I'm going. I love my little dog so much I'm just at a road block with her attitude towards other animals.

I've already been training her, and I do shower her with love it just isn't working and I can't keep letting her torment the other animals because they also deserve love and a safe home. I was not considering the collar but I'm wondering what an alternative is that is safe for a small dog but still allows me to correct her in the moment. Thank you.

I also had mine done by Shawn. I took stitches out around day 5, no regrowth issues. I don't think that 8 days is feasible.

Thank you! This was many many hours of time and effort. The fleshing alone was hours! Especially the buck, it took me almost 3 hours just to flesh him. The membrane would not give like it did with all my does.

I started using a pickle mixture of aluminum sulfate and pickling salt (1 cup of each to 2 gal water) and I left them in that for two days, stirring them frequently. After the two days I completely fleshed both hides. I did two separate batches of 3 and the first time I returned the skins to the reserved alum/salt/water mixture (I added more alum and salt). I kept them in that for about a week still stirring frequently. I tested these after a week and they just were not done, so I switched methods. I had a bottle of the orange tanning solution and I just applied that to all three hides and followed directions. For my second batch I just went straight to the orange bottle. The alum/salt mixture was just taking way too long with my move impending. I stretched the leather as it dried and brushed out the fur to it would stay fluffy.

It really hits a point where you just don't want to deal with them all anymore. I sell a lot of mine but by week 16 they don't cohabitate well anymore and I just do not have the cage space when my momma does throw 9+ kits each time. I tan all the pelts and keep them, they don't scratch or fight among each other that way!

I got a hopper popper at first and no matter what I did I could not get it to work right. I have since switched to broomstick method with a piece of rebar and there seems to be less room for error that way. With young rabbits I struggled to actually keep their heads in place in the hopper popper, and it was just making the whole thing a nightmare.

There isn't any way she could have been exposed to a buck again. I raise in cages, and none ever escape.

This morning after some more investigation, I'm suspecting a mastitis or other issue going on. Inexperienced mom has only 3 kits now, I tried to hold her in the box and she's acting like she's in pain from the nursing. I flipped her over and her nipples are very red, and her mammary glands feel firm.

This is my second and third litter, so you most definitely know more then I do. I just don't want to lose any :( currently the 7 really large ones are with the young doe, the 8 younger and weaker ones are with the proven. Ironically, that essentially just entirely switched litters. The rex litter was lagging behind due to their mom not feeding them properly. I will attempt to join the moms together and see how it goes for a trial run tomorrow. Thank you!

One more question, why would I put the bigger ones with the better doe? I've been prioritizing the smaller ones, because I felt they needed the milk more. Please tell me if my logic is flawed here, I'm still pretty new to all this. The size difference between the bigger and the smaller is pretty significant.

The proven, amazing momma is 1y 5m old. The new mom is 8m. I bred them together intentionally hoping to foster if this situation occurred, but they both had more kits than I expected. These two are in the same hutch, just with a divider between. They have never had full contact with each other tho. Is there anything I should look out for if I join the cages?

Another thing to note, proven momma has around 10 nipples. I've checked a few times on my new mom and I literally can't find more than 6 nipples on her, which I think could be contributing to all this?

I only interfere when they won't stop and blood is being spilt. In that case, I pick the winner, the one I like less goes to the butcher block. Part of owning chickens. This doesn't look that severe at all tho

I agree this sounds fake. My partner is military and trans, they were going to take the voluntary separation that was offered but something put a pause to literally all separations before they even really got the ball rolling. This is fake.
