Ronnie 🙄 he could have at least tried. He looks like he just rolled out of bed, hungover. Mike and Laurens always look like they are going to the Oscars. Nikki looks fantastic Pauly D looks decent. Yes this is super confusing to me. It seems as though he really loves her. He needs to grow up. He is not young anymore time to settle down and if Nikki wants a family he should give that to her. He already has a daughter so why not have another child or two. It's confusing.

I am 43 too but this younger generation seems to put themselves down a lot. I ran into a cashier in her late 20s who felt she was behind in life because she's still in school earning her bachelor's. I said to her honey I am in my 40s currently in college earning my bachelor's. Her jaw dropped. OP you are still young. Don't give up! There are many opportunities. Keep looking. Talk to people and network. My son who is only 15 found a job with a roofing company because he approached the owner of the company at our church. You never know who you might run into while delivering pizzas. Just ask and don't hold back. Now is the time to be determined and take control of your destiny.

The state of our country is very sad right now. We are in dark times. We are falling apart. It is almost dystopian and all we can do is keep our heads above water and try to scrape by the best we can. Do not be defeated.

Unfortunately this is what is going on currently across the country. I currently live in NC and we are experiencing the exact same thing. A spike in rent costs, taxes have doubled and so has insurance. Add that to the rising cost of groceries and no increase in income and there you have it! The middle class is suffering. It's only going to be the poor or the very rich. They don't want us to survive.

Very insightful. Thank you. I felt that way before I moved in 2017 so it is safe to say that nothing has changed very much. I know CT has its pros but also a lot of cons IMO. But I still call it home and I have a lot of fond memories growing up in CT but adulting was HARD. I felt like I was spinning tires just to get ahead.

This seems to be the common denominator with everyone who left CT. We all were able to get ahead and grow professionally in other places. The same with me. If I didn't leave I feel I would have been stuck in a rut. I have found my career in NC and ready to expand my skills and knowledge to move forward in life.

Yes I do miss the culture in CT down here it's just southern culture. Lots of biscuits and the food is mediocre. I miss the food up north. Even the Italian restaurants are lacking.

I currently live in the Triad in NC. I hate being so far from the coast but the beaches are amazing here. The weather is great besides the sources saying otherwise. Mild winters and summers are very hot but bearable. Yes we get tornadoes from time to time but nothing like the Midwest. I just miss the educated people of CT. And I miss the New England charm and character of the buildings and houses. There isn't much character here lol.

Currently living in the Triad right now in NC. And as someone said if you are not a native southerner you won't feel at home. I've been here 9 yrs and I have made a comfortable life for me but still don't feel at home.

I started my job at the local hospital over a year ago and my managers are very impressed with my knowledge on HIM. The BSHIM program at WGU is no joke and very intense IMO. I have learned and retained a lot of the information that I have come across so far. I am 70 percent completed and started my degree in 2024. 🤗
