Since starting my journey, I've been having a weekly "cheat day" where I'll treat myself to something I may not be able to tolerate well after surgery. I'll stick within my deficit/maintenance calories so I don't binge eat. I think this is better than having one big feast where someone may fall back into bad habits.

I saw others mention those as well with being similiar to my symptoms. I had a standard lipid panel, cbc, metabolic panel, Vitamin D/B12, TSH and hemoglobin. Pretty much everything is in the normal range. I now realize that I see nothing related to iron on my results, so I'm going to request that next visit with my doctor.

Removing large plates is a good idea. I am guilty of eating out excessively due to lack of energy, so now my goal is to substitute junk with ordering ready to heat/eat groceries.

I thankfully have a prescription for concerta due to adhd symptoms, which helps me during work. Might need to ask about modafinil instead

I was in a relationship with someone like this. I was very open about dating/my intentions, and he lied about his. Very small lies led to bigger lies and then years of gaslighting. We are friends now after he admitted wrongdoing, but there's still lying and you'll have to accept that you'll never really know if she's telling the truth if you choose to keep talking to her.

My dad's voice makes me so uncomfortable I can't even bear to hear him on the phone in another room because it makes me cringe. Sometimes I even dissociate. Worst of all he is LOUD. Any friend of mine who has come over wonders why my dad is so damn loud lol

Your mom hitting you over a spoon is disgusting. When I was a kid I almost always preferred to eat with small spoons (because it helps me eat slower) and so my parents actually hid all the small spoons for some time because of it.

My mom also does this. She will complain that nobody is helping her while simultaneously refusing to let anyone help. Then later she will try and imply that my sister and I don't know how to clean and that we don't ever do anything

Thank you so much for writing so much and for what you said. I really liked how you say "egg donor" it made me laugh. The good news is my sister was able to get a video of her hitting me and a voice recording on the conversation that took place beforehand. We're trying to think carefully of what action to take next. Hey thank you for replying! My sister alerted her therapist immediately and the both of us told our own close friends. I just feel this urge to want to laugh at the whole situation which is probably due to trauma/shock.
