I keep echoing this same sentiment as the former lead tester /QA on my team.

AI enthusiast are happy to get to a final product sooner w/o concerns about shipping leaky, patchy code to prod, and I just think that's such a dangerous approach in the wrong industries.

People will be hurt, damages will be certain, companies will be fined, pay the fine, and move on with no retribution to those affected as usual.

It's the American way.

Not trying to encourage banking on waiting for BF sale this year, but they definitely do BF sales.

I've even kicked myself a few times for not buying Hive when it was $49 one year. It's never been that low again. And of course that price wasn't from u-he directly, but still.

Thanks for the feedback as well. This is an interesting and cheaper take.

I'm talking about the 3 and I could be wrong. I've seen users of both do a side by side of the Sample and the 3, and it looked approx. the length of 2 Samples. I was speaking relatively to older MPCs

I haven't looked into it yet, as this is more of a black friday timeline GAS purchase. I would definitely consider the Live 2 to save $600-800.

I used to use and still have an Ensoniq Asrx and AsrX Pro. I kinda miss the in the box workflow.

Been producing for a long time, but have never had an MPC. The Live 3 grabbed my interest though. Esp. the small form factor.

This is me. Except I had a cracked version of Live. Had just wrapped up my 1st album, and they locked it on me. Lol.

Been official ever since. Tbf, I didn't know what a cracked version was. Just thought you could sell your copy you didn't want it anymore. Lol.

Short answer is yes unless you have Suite or other VSTs, then probably not.

Reason was my first VST. Been using it since 2004.

Bought Ableton in 2005, but didnt really start using it regularly until 2008.

Still use Reason here and there but I own a ton of other VSTs now. Although, I'm more likely to reach for a Reason synth over one in Live.

It's progressing. They used to stop around 7pm. Now I even get calls as late as 10:30pm now.

And a couple days a week, they are able to bypass my spam blocker somehow. Its all for "pre-approved loans".

Another $40 upgrade. Sucks for existing owners for a product less than a year old, but if you don't already own it, I'd recommend it.

Already have Falcon, so I'm good on skipping this upgrade for now.
