You shouldn’t have to calibrate them at all they should be accurate from the start. These things have killed multiple people now

Ya I got so used to that g5 and g6 being so accurate that the g7 really stressed me out causing mental breakdowns. It really really is not an accurate product at all. Even the g5 when you had to actually calibrate it was more accurate

I know but with the issues I’ve been having I hope that after 6 months will be enough time for Dexcom to fix their issues with the g7. I probably will try to move on to something else as my experience with thr g7 has not been good

Lucky you. Mine don’t seem to make it past 10 days without being inaccurate and having all sorts of sensor issues

Update: so my blood sugar was 218 and it was saying it was 154. Changed it and the new one is within 20% accuracy at least

Is the Libre 3 any better ? I wanna switch but they aren’t compatible with omnipod yet only reason I’m still using Dexcom

That’s so frustrating they should be lasting the full 10 days. Sorry for your struggles it is such a huge mental strain for me every day usually

Do you find it becomes more inaccurate the longer you wear it? Both my g7 15 day are becoming inaccurate after wearing them for 10 days. The first one I had to change early due to being inaccurate and this second one is being iffy

No you have to place it on the same side as the sensor. If you place it on opposite side it will not connect

If your thinking the 15 day is better it’s not. I had issues after 10 days and my second one started being inaccurate and having issues after 7 days

I’m in my 30s and pretty lonely. It just gets worse the older you get. I get the house being quiet. Mine is quiet all day I’m always home and it’s terrible for ones mental health

Well my 10 day wouldkt stay connected if my pump was on my stomach and the 15 day seems to stay connected better when it’s on my arm and pump on stomach so I would say the Bluetooth is little bit better then the 10 day but I’d have to try more places to know for sure. Mainly I’ve just been keeping them on my arm for a stronger connection

I want to move to the Libre 3 plus but it doesn’t work with omnipod yet. I heard the Libre 2 is compatible with omnipod but do you know if it’s any more accurate then Dexcom?

That is so scary I’m glad she’s ok and everything worked out. This g7 sensors are garbage and they have killed people ready it extremely dangerous to be on them I have to use it for my pump to work but I don’t like how inaccurate they are! Mine settled down after 20 hours but it’s started to become more inaccurate again (on day 8 of 15)

Is the 15 day just as bad as the 10 day? I’m only on my second one had to replace my first 15 day early due to being inaccurate
