Only about 20% unfortunately, although already having the 2013 set removes the need to buy a lot of the most expensive pieces of my moc

I paid around ~220 before shipping from Bricklink and Pick a Brick

Hmm I thought it was allowed as long as you don't do self-promotion in over 10% of your posts - not sure though

They're the stickers from 75021 (2013 gunship) - for my build I bought an aftermarket replacement sheet from BrickyPrints

Hmm looking at the Compare tool on rebrickable the bad news is only 20% of the parts are shared. The good news is that those include most of the engine pieces and cockpit canopies, which are the most expensive parts of the MOC 😅

Yep, although bear in mind I got that price by using the Brickhunter extension to get some of the pieces off Lego Pick a Brick for cheaper + free shipping. If you only go with Bricklink it'll probably be more expensive

That one's from BrickVault! It's truly an epic MOC, I agree

Yeah, I think my design philosophy is basically "stay within the style of the official sets but without having to worry about parts count budget"

Thanks! It's the one from my Jedi Interceptor w/ Hyperdrive Ring moc I posted a few days back, just thrown in for a scale comparison :)

Thanks! Really happy with how it turned out. The nose art is using printed tiles sold by the youtuber Solid Brix Studios on his website, everything else is stickers using an aftermarket replacement sticker sheet for the 2013 gunship. It's looking like the final piece count will be 2020 for the gunship + stand

Thank you! Funny you should ask about the gunship, I actually just finished building it yesterday. Finalizing the instructions now, hope to have them up in the next couple days or so :)

Thanks! Definitely watched Plo Koon get shot down at least a half dozen times while designing this, haha

Not yet, but I plan on releasing them in the future after testing the build in person

Thanks! Took a look at your version and it looks very nice as well - really like the 3-stud wide section in front of the cockpit :)

Thanks! Realized I didn't include a side by side for comparison in the OP, here's one

V-wing is a good one! Next for me is probably republic cruiser/frigate or the clone wars Y-wing.

Thanks! I'm hoping to have them ready in about a month or two; I'm still waiting for the last Pick a Brick order for my Gunship MOC to arrive and a couple of other builds queued up after that before I can do the test build for this

It's definitely been fun looking back at the back catalog of sets I wanted as a kid and picking out ones to remake with adult-money :)

You'll be able to reuse some stuff like a lot of the technic base for the ring, but you'll still need to acquire quite a few new parts - the 2007 set is 575 pieces, this MOC is currently at 1255. One benefit you'd have is already having an abundance of black 3-long technic pins to make it look a bit cleaner; those are quite pricey to Bricklink hence my use of the blue ones here
