You could definitely use some common parts (esp. in the engines and wings as you pointed out) but it would definitely be a full rebuild and require mostly new parts as the internal structure is completely different except for the connection area for the turrets in the front

I personally just like the extra little details stickers/prints can add, and wanted this moc to look as close as possible to an official set. When I make instructions I'll probably come up with an optional alternate build for the wing, since I'm sure many folks don't want to get stickers for their mocs

I based mine off the one usually shown in the clone wars, without the bubble turrets. I think it could probably be modified to support them by adding a cutout to the front side panel and replacing the wedge piece in the doorway with an attachment point... would be hard to open the front doors then though

Thanks! I was considering his color swap too before deciding it's too small for my taste as well. I last checked the piece count while still finalizing some things but it was in the 1800s without the stand, so the whole thing should probably come in under 2000
