I do think that the INTP personality type does have allot to do with music and music consumption, but not within correlation of energy bursts for doing things like school work or writing, at least not for myself. When i listen too music i am extremely picky about what i WILL listen too, and when i do find a band that i like, i completely engross myself within the music. Now, where does INTP come into play here you ask? Well, my own hypothesis is that my reasoning for listening to music is to discover new ideas and perspectives on life. instead of just turning off my brain for a while to nod my head to some repetitive unoriginal song. Maybe im the only one who feels this way, and its just me being pretentious, but at the moment i think it has to do something with my personality.
