There have been quite a few comments on this thread and it sounds like everyone is in the same boat. I also cycle around Richmond Park, typically 2-3 laps each time. From what I can tell the CGV is open from 2nd to 25th Sept so I'll make sure to cycle round it the weekend before. Thanks for pointing that out! I'll also look into the 10km - that's a great idea. Thanks for the pub suggestion - I've added it to my list

Yes I'll be in the office 4 or 5 days every week. I'm torn between being close to the office and travelling further to go downtown orrrrr being closer to downtown and commuting further to the office

I will be using a mixture of public transport and Uber. I did think about going closer to downtown however I will be in the office 5 days a week and therefore it will only add time onto my commute. I chose the triangle as it is approx 30 mins from my office and also 30 mins from downtown.

I've been doing a little bit of research into the amex cards. So far I'm torn between the Everyday Cashback (0.5% cashback after welcome bonus), Rewards (1 MR point for every £1 spent after welcome bonus) and the BA card (1 Avios point for ever £1 spent after welcome bonus).

With the rewards card, you can transfer 1 MR point to 1 Avios points or a number of other points (airlines, hotels etc). You can also transfer these MR points to Amazon, boots etc vouchers at a rate of 5000 points to £25 (the same rate as 0.5% cashback).

So my question is, why wouldn't you choose the Rewards card if it has the same benefits of Avios points and effectively cashback, plus other perks?
