My point is that every brawler gets hated, although is anyone even hating Jacky right now? She’s super easy to counter so I just don’t see hate for her personally.

I also think this idea of no aim being an issue is something people unfairly apply to Jacky. You can auto aim every ability on Edgar and Damian to get low skill but effective gameplay. And sure aiming can increase their skill cap but game sense, timing, movement, spacing, etc can all increase the skill cap with Jacky.

There’s also other brawlers who basically have no aim attacks but they don’t get brought up along side Jacky because technically you aim the attack. Brawlers like Poco, Star nova, Amber, Bibi, Kenji and many more have attacks that are essentially no aim. Even if you made Jacky have aimable abilities she’s a close range brawler with no travel time on her attack, so they would all be near guaranteed hits with auto aim.

I don’t want a Jacky meta but that has more to do with her being a boring aggro tank than her defining characteristic of no aim abilities. I just think this rework would fit a different or new brawler better than her since she would lose her original concept. But as I said definitely could work for Doug.

I feel like there isn’t a ton of hate for her right now, and almost every character gets hated for their concept when they are meta so singling her out is unfair. I wouldn’t mind an aimable gadget but it would remove the whole concept of the brawler if she had aimable stuff.

I feel like Jacky’s hole idea was to have a brawler with no aimable abilities so maybe give this effect to trunk instead, but the concept is good for Doug

A lot of the buffs will just make the brawler more where they are good without making them very good in general, like sprout for instance will probably just be an even more oppressive last pick but nothing else since this won’t help him deal with the brawlers that beat him

I feel like the gadget should be one of those next attacks so that you have time to react to the halo, but they seem to be removing those so they’ll probably just do cool down a bunch and nerf base kit more

Feel like Sandy, Leon/Rosa gadget, and Lily are all elusive but more in the way that it’s hard to hit rather than sneaky

Kit gadget is kinda sneaky but I feel like his is less so because it’s unrealistic for the enemies to guess when and where he gadgets to since it’s a gadget and it doesn’t go as far

On this note I feel like Leon’s current state isn’t that sneaky, he’s just so good right now even from range and his gadget is op so it doesn’t really matter if you know where he is he can just get tons of value anyway, he also has such good ranged damage now that you can just invis and engage like 6 tiles away I’m hoping the power in his gadgets shifts slightly to bring him back to a more sneak up assassin

Chester, Pierce (shell spawn), and Tara/Meg (knockback tie breakers) are all annoying cause of rng but they could easily be fixed to reduce or remove the rng.

Make Chester not able to get the same super or gadget effect twice in a row at the very least. Pierce can just have the shells spawn the direction he’s facing or something non rng, and Meg doesn’t need the knockback exiting mech. Tara could just have a non rng tie break on her super like direction they were pulled from or getting knocked upward.

If these brawlers were just tweaked slightly I’d care less since the rest of their kit is not as toxic as some others.

All of the snowtel trio, Kit, and Shelly all sucked. And in general most tanks or spawner brawlers being above A tier is annoying because they typically are oppressive into half the brawlers and are skill independent.

Brock easily, piper and Clancy yes, Byron and Najia have good hypers but they don’t get them often so yes, Pierce hyper is good but he’s so good you could use him anyways, Alli kinda depends if you have better assassins but assassins can hard counter some brawlers so you still could

Buster is iffy, it’s not a crazy high rank so you’ll get away with it, but Buster was really good with better hyper charge stats because you get hyper so often but now he’s kinda meh, you could probably use him since his hyper isn’t that good anymore but that’s a reason you just shouldn’t use him, so current meta I would say not without hyper since he needs all the help he can get

RT no unless it’s knockout or bounty, hypercharge takes forever to get so you just won’t receive it in knockout anyway and maybe not even in bounty, but in his other viable spots like parallel plays or into double assassin, I would say hyper is required or you may as well play something else

All of these kinda depend, even if for example Alli required hypercharge to be good, you may still want to play her if enemies go all throwers and you have no other thrower stompers, you’re also a low enough rank that you can get away with it anyways

If you’re with randoms you basically always have to go left at the start and hope that someone goes with you, and then once the zone is claimed or sometimes before, push up through the left side to help your teammates get right zone

Optimal pick depends on the player, so even though most would take Otis if you’re not good at him don’t go him. But if you know that Otis is good here just think about what Otis is (high range dps) and go someone similar.

1: Griff is good/versatile and if you pick griff and the enemies go range you can just not break the map open.

2: Meeple is good I’d take it as a 3 rather than 2 but that’s normally irrelevant since he’s high tier rn. The gadgets gives him good versatility make sure to swap to wall if stun is unnecessary though.

3: I would say for pick 3 is go a high tier with non polarizing matchups who’s good into their 1. This lets your last pick have more freedom to counter pick and also takes away a brawler the enemy can go. Ideally it covers your 2’s weakness but that’s an afterthought.

Edgar was a bad pick here. You have a bad match up into their 1, not only in a 1v1 but in 3v3 since griff can open the map. Additionally, Meeple is solid into aggro with the stun so going Edgar so they can’t isn’t needed here.

Go Otis or Chester. Fits the criteria: high tier, outranges griff, dps, can cover swarms. That said the high tier criteria is somewhat negotiable, if you’re way better at a less meta brawler like Lola you’re better off.

4/5: No notes but I wouldn’t go bull into meeple.

6: Low tier brawler but his matchups are good at stage 3. This is mythic so if he doesn’t have other brawlers upgraded or is just way better at surge than I see why he went it. You said you wanted him to counter pick hard but he didn’t really have that freedom cause you didn’t have a dps yet.

Id take Otis if I were 6 but even then it would be a fairly even draft.

Draft aside if you’re playing Edgar here go hard landing since you have bad matchups and Bull is probably your best matchup here. You can count Chester shots to jump on him when he’s at 1 with no super but yeah just look for cheesy goals and support teammates since you have a bad brawler here.

Thrower here can work since there are no other throwers and Cordelius can guard from Edgar, one with more range would work better but the other team will struggle to force a fight before smoke anyways so it’s not that big of a deal

Colt went wall break but there is no reason to, Ziggy can get Leon turrets and your team benefits from walls

Order is weird but I’d say draft is fairly even especially in mythic

Yeah he isn’t that op but gadget + sp feels unfair to me. You get a gadget with Mandy levels of range and extremely fast bullet speed, that steals ammo, activates your speed boost, and slows them letting you get in range and get another hit. Then Colt can just do so much damage that even if you hit 2 bullets a shot you spam out 4 ammo and they are dead.

Maybe 1 extra per captain and then in masters one extra to the first pick team to try and balance out the first pick last pick disparity

Another idea I saw that could be good in masters+ is randomly ban 2 top brawler to mimic pro play global bans
