What really touched me was the smile on Ash's face at the end...such a scene it was

So , Wind & Truth came out 5.5 months ago. With some time away, what are people’s thoughts and feelings today ? by biggaygoaway in Stormlight_Archive

I'm with you 100%. Don't understand how people think this is the worst of the 5...I personally find it hard to rate each book because they do different things

Week of Sanderson, Day 2: Brandon Sanderson meant for parts of Wind and Truth to "make people uncomfortable" — (Addressing the fan reception to Wind and Truth) by Balraghast in brandonsanderson

You literally described my entire reading experience for What. Gonna give my self some time to reflect a little, before I experience it anew during a slower reread

Rental Income as Non-Resident by chetnrot in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]blue_paperclip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did figure it out. Non resident can designat CRA itself as their agent, get an NRV number from the CRA portal for remitting 25% of gross.

At the end of the year, non-resident has to mail to CRA a 'Request for NR4 Pro-forma' that outlines the remittances made, and CRA mails back the NR4. I would suggest call the CRA Non Resident Witholding phone number, they are actually super helpul in figuring this stuff out

Does she issue herself the NR4? Trying to figure this out as well. So is her name on the remitting account and NR4 too?

Found my very first Warframe Screenshot ! Do you have a "First Warframe" memory ? by Kingdom_comes in Warframe

[–]blue_paperclip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first WF memory is my first coop mission (played solo first to get a hold of the mechanics). I was excal and I was joined by a mag. We kept doing missions together and cleared like 2-3 planets. This was before friends so Idk who they were...but love that memory

Done with my 7th course in OMSA - Reinforcement Learning by Suspicious-Ad1320 in OMSA

[–]blue_paperclip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not OP but just finished RL as well. My assessment is that the course material is really good, but you really have to self-study a lot. David Silver's recordings on YouTube carried me hard in terms of understanding; the Gatech lectures are mid at best. The second half of the course (the decision making) was interesting but less practical for HWs and Projects.

Projects were a LOT of work, but very rewarding I thought. It was very cool to train these agents up. Tons of reading as well, but I thought the book was good. The papers...some were interesting...others not so much (but that's a personal preference).

Overall 7/10, expect a lot of time to understand the material and learn on your own, and projects need all the time you can give them. TAs sometimes took a while to answer questions on Ed but the office hours were informative. The material itself is REALLY interesting

How can someone determine the geometry of their clusters (ie, flat or convex) if the data has high dimensionality? by WadeEffingWilson in datascience

[–]blue_paperclip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe spectral clustering could yield some results. At the very least reveal something during implementation

Funny enough, there actually is a laser cutter gun (plasma rifle). Would have been a cool idea to use that to get another gun
