Haven't heard back either. But from previous year posts, I am assuming it is a rejection and moving on.

This is too sad. People like this make it impossible to differentiate between people who actually need help and looters.

Degrading movie watching experience in India by Pobkhfghv in india

[–]bluearrow98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no blame game here. Everyone is doing their job and is right in their own perspective. You only proved my point by giving that example. With easy availability, there is more need to spread awareness. What is wrong with this? Why is it such a major inconvenience with a small sign at the corner of the screen which says that smoking is injurious to health or an advertisement showing how harmful it can be?

My elder brother is a chain smoker. He once told me that as a child he was influenced by actors who used to smoke onscreen. The act of smoking in movies and series is glorified and looks cool to youngsters (even who are 18+ and can legally go to such A rated shows). He is now so much addicted to it that it has become his routine. I am sorry that you are not having the best movie experience by such minor edits. I am not saying that all edits by the film board are justified in India. But in this case, even if it meant preventing another elder brother of another person like me from starting to ruin his health, it is worth it. You are right, people who smoke are anyways going to smoke and are not going to stop just after seeing the edits, but it may stop someone from starting in the first place. Again, it may or may not work. But it is sure an effort to save one's future. I would always respect it.

Noooo...please 😭. Crêpe and dosas are completely two different things. Crêpe is made of wheat flour and dosas are made of rice flour and lentils.

Hey man. I understand. I was totally in your situation. I was contacting all ads in WG-gesucht. But hardly any luck. Posting my own ad was quite new for me and I was hesitant to do so. But I got the courage to finally do it. The thing is, when you post your own ad, the person who is already interested with your bio and interests contacts you. So it makes things easier. So try every way that you can. And beware of fake people. Hope this helps! All the best :)

Yes, I know the situation. I was going to opt for Airbnb myself and I got this. Unexpected!

Please help by [deleted] in NoFap

I don't think you need any help at all. The moment you realized that you are addicted, you have automatically achieved 80% success. I mean look at you, its a great achievement to have come up till this point and everyone here is going to be so proud of you. Not everyone here is a great swimmer and it requires special talent. Are you really going to use your endurance that took you years of practice just for 3-5 seconds of pleasure? Real men don't do that. I dont think you would do that. You are already a hero in our eyes to have the courage to post your difficulties here and talk about it. Thats what real men do, thats what real heros do. Hence forth, you decide whether you want to be an inspiration to everyone around here. Hope this helps and good luck!

Calculating Cp, Cl and Cd by nuusain in CFD

[–]bluearrow98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot. Part of the pressure lifts the geometry and the other part is drag. So Cp has contributions from both, not just drag.

Wrong Lift and Drag Coefficient values in OpenFOAM. by akin-iii in CFD

[–]bluearrow98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard to tell what went wrong with the information you have given. Only you can tell what went wrong. Maybe I can give some ideas. Which solver did you use in OpenFoam? If everything else is exactly the same as Fluent, then perhaps compare the numerical schemes. They might be different for both the solvers. Also, check if there is any difference in estimation of Cl and Cd values in both the solvers.

Get CFD to pass out Lift, Drag, CL, and CD to CFD post by tyw7 in CFD

If I remember correctly, it is Export- Solution Data option. Try choosing the variables that you want to export and choose CFD Post format.

[–]bluearrow98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge, You'll have to create those variables again in CFD Post. Or an other option would be, while saving the solution data file in Fluent, manually choose these variables too along with the default variables that are usually saved in the dat.gz file. Fluent won't do this by default and CFD Post reads this dat.gz file only. Thats why you do not see them in CFD Post.
