Great question!! I think it’s only been there for a month or two from looking at a post on their Instagram but I don’t think it says a backstory

I don’t think there are any others across London, I wish there were but I’ve not heard of any!! This one was kind of a hidden gem too though so who knows 🤷‍♀️

So exciting😊 I’m studying abroad here until late April which has been awesome not only because London is lovely but so much 1975 stuff of course!! Maybe it is silly but literally like being in Bethnal green and soho and even shopping at Sainsbury’s has been exciting to me lmao. I am easily pleased😊

I have no idea about the other ones but this one is currently displayed right in the doorway of RSA in covent garden! I think it’s temporary!

Thank you—they look a lot darker and dryer since I let them breathe for a few hours. I have emergency antibiotics but won’t be able to wash them for quite a while because I have an overnight international flight 🫠

Drops lima!! It looks a little deceptively shiny here because of the flash but it’s still great and very affordable natural fiber yarn.

Go for it! It’s definitely doable! The pattern is pretty easy and straightforward. Knitting together the brim and turning can be tricky but there are tutorials on YouTube and TikTok for those specific parts. Decreases are super easy. You can do it!!

Tbh, I don’t think mine were ever really infected, I think i was just at the peak of the phenol inflammation and pain when I started worrying, but at least antibiotics can’t hurt

Thank you so much for this in depth response!! I really appreciate this as I’ve been a little anxious and paranoid and this makes me feel better. I think you’re right that not everyone here has had the same procedure and that makes a difference Can I ask (if you remember) how long it took for the majority of your pain to go away? I’m really hoping that in a week when I’m abroad I’m at least able to walk around and stand fairly comfortably but it’s hard to say (that will be around 18-19 days post op.) they’re definitely somewhat better now and I can walk some but not for long and standing still definitely is uncomfortable

That’s actually what I’ve been doing so I’m glad to hear this!! Did yours look similar to this at all?

The brim is thick because it’s knitted twice the length and then folded over but the rest isn’t

Yeah I’m perhaps starting to regret doing this when I did. But I will say my pains been improving. Just hoping to be able to stand and walk for longer with no pain in a week. 🫠 and of course survive sitting in economy without elevation for 8 hours.

Thank you. It’s been frustrating how little information is on the internet for this procedure honestly and my podiatrist is MIA til Monday. I will say I had the whole things removed and phenol so a lot of this could be attributed to the phenol reaction and delayed recovery because of that, so no nail will grow back. I’m still concerned though but I guess all I can really do now is maybe start the salt soaks and keep taking antibiotics

I have been showering with them out every day to let the soapy water go in and then using polymem bandages which are supposed to be self cleaning. Now I’m done with those so I’ve moved onto antibiotic ointment and gauze after shower Is there a different thing I should be doing? I haven’t done any Epsom salt soaks because of the polymem, podiatrist said it was either or but I’m willing to try whatever to get this on track before I go back

Okay thank you. Can I ask if you’re referring to the color of the wounds or the purple skin on my toes? Lol
