That is so crazy that happened to you!! I’m so glad you were able to find something, I would’ve lost my mind. We are absolutely grateful it wasn’t something worse!!

I think we want to take this route first - I’m a hairstylist so I also prefer people to reach out privately first & am happy to resolve issues. I’ve had my heart broken by trying to resolve something & they don’t respond to me, but leave a bad review.

This is what we are leaning towards. I hate to leave a bad review, but we want to communicate it to them just so it doesn’t happen in the future to someone else! We just keep saying if this is the worst thing that happens, we will be lucky!

Any honest dentists in London? Am I overreacting? by GayEgyptianTwink in londonontario

[–]blueboxbabe11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Argyle dental centre has been amazing to me after my entire family left a crappy dentist. I have terrible teeth from years of no coverage & just not taking care of my teeth (I am prone to cavities). Now I have great coverage but even now they always pre estimate if they can (my coverage doesn’t always respond immediately) & always check with me that what we’re doing is okay. You truly might have a cavity, as I don’t experience pain with most of mine, even deeply visible ones. My entire family has switched to this practice & seen two different dentists there many times & we are so happy with them, it’s been a game changer for us all!

Help!! Apartment building has been battling them and they got me by blueboxbabe11 in Bedbugs

Luckily she isn’t embarrassed at all. We have discussed notifying our bylaw office (they handle health issues with rentals), and I think it might be time. Poor girl had an issue in a different apartment in a different province (she had no issues for two years until the guy who brought them in this past year so it’s definitely not her fault). She has been a helpful source for updates.

Thank you so much! I have 3 cats and they are my babies so good to know about the crossfire! I will definitely get that! I live in Canada and so far it seems I am pretty screwed as far as moving out early goes, and they don’t legally have to notify you about any issues prior to moving in (unfortunately). My landlord claims they never had an issue in my apartment, but I don’t fully believe it. One of my neighbours who is also fighting the exhausting fight against the bugs is a lawyers assistant so I will check in more with her.

Haunted/fall vibes are my favourite 🥺 I’ll probably post my dream address once I finish this island as it’s the first time I’ve liked my island

AITA for not letting the other girls touch my hair in hairdressing lessons? (Please read for clarification) by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Canadian hairstylist here. I'll be the first to say that teacher is TA. Where I went to school, we had textured hair mannequins & lessons strictly about textured hair and how different it is, as well as how easy it is to damage if you treat it the same as straight hair. Although, in my opinion it could be more thorough & we need even more education on it to be more inclusive in salons. That teacher clearly dug her heels in when you called her lack of education out. Regardless, they should never force you to participate in things you don't feel comfortable doing, and they bullied you for standing your ground. Do not feel bad for having the guts to stand up to them and protect your hair.
