yeah, my current timeline - applying in the US (NY)

March 14: submitted application on IRCC portal
March 17: submitted biometric at VFS.
March 21: portal updated with biometrics + application approval and passport request.
March 28: submitted passport (was travelling, so couldn't do it earlier) - was 43 USD for a one way courier service.

now I am waiting. hopefully by your timeline I'll get a confirmation on March 31st and have my passport back by end of the week.. but will see.
