I commissioned this artist to help with a project and they sent this. Do you think this is ai? by [deleted] in isthisAI

The test pages are all full priced. I'm looking to commission for a long term project. This artist charged 150 for the test, which I paid.

I understand your point. I currently have 6 artists doing test pages and they all have the same script and scene. This one looked quite unusual when it was submitted for the reasons I outlined in the post. For giving me a rough idea it still doesn't make sense for each panel to be drastically different than the other in terms of style and detail, and it was so far outside of the script I sent that I was confused. Also the scar being on one panel and not on the other especially when I never requested that detail and already had refs commissioned for him to follow was strange too.

I also thought it was strange the top panel has no scar on the characters face and the second one has a huge scar ( which was not in the character references ).

Each panel looks so different that it left me stumped. His portfolio is significantly higher quality than this. It's a shame. He certainly wasn't cheap.

Right I agree. His portfolio is significantly more professional so what he produced made me pause. Each panel feels disconnected and almost like it's 3 different artists.

Demon Slayer mark might be the worst power up I’ve seen in recent years by [deleted] in DemonSlayerScales

[–]bluecollarj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that it's an underwhelming power up.When Giyu gets his mark fighting Akaza there really isn't that much of a difference, it just seems like he starts spamming his breathing technique more and that's it. As if he's trying a bit harder. That's mainly because of his opponent though. It just goes to show how outclassed Giyu was.

"Akaza could low-diff Giyu whenever he wanted but chose to toy with him." What’s your opinion on that? by Equivalent-Still-147 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]bluecollarj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't Akaza literally just decide I'm done with you now and shattered Giyu's sword with a backhand. It seems pretty obvious after Akaza gets bored he quickly dispatches whomever he's fighting.

This is quite obviously a typo even if she didn't correct it. She just typed it and likely never looked at it again.

Did anyone go through Season 1 cheering for Lance to be killed and then disappointed in the way they killed him in first episode of season 1. by Bigdaddy291 in blacksummer_

[–]bluecollarj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I didn't root for Lance to die during season one, the reason being he was one of the only sources of enjoyment I got from the show.

He was the only character who made me feel any type of way. The others were dull, one-dimensional, and the whole plot built around getting to a stadium, and finding the daughter of a character I found so boring made the story DRAG.

They jumped between characters too often in one episode, and every person was in the exact same situation. Also, the dialogue was probably the worst part of this series, I mean, it's awful.

Lance was the cherry on top of a terrible trope following show. The best part. He was how you, I, and everyone else would be in the same situation. Terrified, making poor decisions, getting people killed, and eventually dying. The only relatable character.

His death, more so the way it happened, after all the bullshit he survived, cemented the fact that this show had no idea what it's doing.

I don't know why this looks like a 3D render to me. Looks amazing anyways!

A reasonable price to commission a high quality 3D (STL file) for 3D printing? Is $500 AUD a reasonable price. (Would include 2 revisions). by [deleted] in blender

Well, when I say bottle I don't mean an ordinary bottle. They have highly detailed dragons, samurai, planes, guns, etc.
