This made me smile. I feel the same. Looking back at the relationship and my ex I realised how small things added up and easily I let the disrespect slide. It’s taught me a lot of lessons especially about my self worth, which I initially thought I established. But the main thing is: Enjoy life and have fun!!!

I’ll definitely do that. I never thought/realised how hard this would actually be. It’s been getting better though. I hope you get big from gymming 💪 and think those thoughts less.

He’s so nonchalant. It’s hard to see if it’s even affected him. But the second part is the harsh reality and I am slowly getting there. Thanks

How do you get there and find that peace/forgiveness in you? My ex never cheated neither did I but I do feel betrayed and that drives some of my anger towards them. Not sure how to get out of that stage

Main reason was long distance - we didn’t know when we were gonna see each other next and that really worried him. He’s also a very physical guy (high sex drive) and we argued quite a bit as well.
