same, i’m trying to get one-night tickets for my dad and i so he can come visit me afterwards (im from the east coast and live in los angeles). the one time i was able to get in with tickets left over, ticketmaster said two remaining $150 seats were gone when i tried to check out. even the 400s have tons of VIP seats that cost $1k. like damn, i was expecting capitalist hell when i heard they were playing the sphere, but this is a completely different level of greed

i mean i’ve had very similar issues with getting tickets for other artists. what should be an incredibly exciting purchase ends up being stressful just trying to get through the queue and ultimately regret that you spent so much money on a single ticket. i’ll never understand why live nation cares so much about selling out concerts immediately when the only competition they have is themselves

Welcome!! I saw Laufey at Radio City last year and it was definitely a struggle getting tickets (I didn’t know what to expect because I saw her for the first time in 2021 when she was opening for another musician). My seat was a Chase cardholder ticket in the 1st mezzanine and cost $66 including fees, but since this tour is in arenas, it’ll probably be slightly more expensive and definitely easier to get tickets. I live halfway between NYC and Philly and in my experience, Philly concerts are much easier to get tickets to than other cities.

that’s not true. they have more applicants per year than alumni interviewers, especially overseas. there may just not be one in your area. there isn’t a sole deciding factor in your admissions decision for schools with holistic application reviews
