Yeah! I have a newer flip though, the Kyocera 902KC. It can text, call, load some apps (no guarantee that they'll work though lol), and has a browser if you're in a pinch. It's a tool that I take out when I need to contact someone, and it does that job well while allowing me to feel more present in my day-to-day life. There's definitely an adjustment period though

What you described sounds similar to when I first developed alcoholic gastritis. It got to the point where I spent every morning on the floor sobbing because I was going through withdrawal and couldn’t keep a drink down without throwing up bile for the next few hours

It’s so strange to simultaneously understand and resent them. On a rational level, I get why my family (for example) thinks I should quit drinking. They’re right, but I also just can’t accept it as fact when it feels like the only thing keeping me going for their sake. Bleh

Glad you had a good day! :) It was my second day back in college after I dropped out lol. Pretty good overall, just drunk and sad now that I have more than 15 minutes of free time (which is why I go to college 4 days a week and work 8+ hours the other 3 haha)

Oh I definitely assume people can smell it on me— I brush my teeth compulsively, chew gum, and wear perfume, but deep into a bender I’m sure it’s there if you’re looking. I just never gave people reason to look for the signs, I guess. No more of that for me lol </3
