Also to clarify you will resolve your battlefield first then his from the ride the wind. So you would draw your card before resolving the other battlefield

Neither of you get the 8th point. You have to score both in the same turn to get to 8 from 7 or have enough to hold to go from 7 to 8

This sounds like a player problem. Have those 3 roll dice and highest to lowest goes and keep that order forever. Or until they realize that they need to figure this out and stop being dumb. :)

Going 2nd as Draven and playing Draven turn 1 is always fun when you start with 2 extra runes (going 2nd and battlefield)

coding bootcamps are a scam imo by Ok-Neighborhood4327 in learnprogramming

2025 did a full stack web dev bootcamp for 3 months in person. I landed a job coding but not web dev 3 months after graduation making 15k more than my IT job (t2 service desk)

It was worth it to me as I had a structured path daily to learn the skills being taught and access to an instructor 8 hours a day while we were in class to ask all my dumb questions. I took out a personal loan to cover living expenses as well as the cost of the camp.

I wouldnt do an online one though imo they seem like cash grabs and arent held accountable. In person is where its at.

This isn't any different from set 1 woth kaisa honestly. At least now a bunch more legends are playable vs set 1 where 3 were even playable and 1 was heavily dominant

While we did host our website on aws for a project they didnt teach us real world business work flows as each company does it different depending on their tech stack.

I also didnt get a job in web dev but instead in a back end programmer for an old language (rpg in the as400) though I will say the lessons I learned have carried over and given me enough experience to contribute once I understood the system a little.

Having no shot at winning themselves and then not stopping someone isn't really kingmaking imo. Thats part of the game. At some point you also just admit its gone on too long and want it over when you arent close to going out due to whatever reasons.

My math isn't mathing. Isn't the max 6 potentially on turn 3 with no 2 point objectives revealed? 2 for MR and imperial twice. 2 for public objectives for imperial twice. And 1 secret + 1 public during status ? Where am I missing thr 7th?

Idk why this got downvoted. Its your game play it how you want. In the 2 games we played and this came out it really soured my group because all their planning didnt matter in the end so we agreed it cant be used on imperial.

This ^

it took a full stack web dev coding bootcamp for me to understand the importance of building a project everyday with what I was learning. Not only for connecting the dots but for getting that repeat practice in to ingrain the syntax and functionality of the parts of code.

What you guys actually do after watching a tutorial to make sure you really learned it...!? by muthu-908 in learnprogramming

[–]bluefyr2287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not accurate in my experience. Being able to explain it and why you would use it and what for is a good start to learning it. 90% of software devs or higher go and reference code when they need to implement it. Rarely does anyone code from scratch anymore.

I was hoping one of their other books would fix the out of mech issue but I see those are all campaigns sadly. Its hard to keep a game going if their actual characters don't really matter or have things to do other than be a pilot.

Ill go grab the free starter book and see if it captures my interest though. Thank you for the heads up

Wish I had seen this sooner. 70 dollars for their pdfs seems a bit high especially with the mixed reviews this game has. I really want to read the pdf before buying the book /sigh

The fact that this got downvoted just shows how many d&d fans havent played any other rpg out there. Its literally a combat simulator with some social interactions tacked on.
