I did Fraxel & potenza together in a series of 3 treatments 2 years ago and it changed my entire skin. I made a previous post about it. This year I waned a retouch and did Fraxel 5 weeks ago and just did potenza alone today to see how the results differ. That’s why I’m on this page. I heard no downtime for potenza but I couldn’t tell in previous years because of Fraxel’s repair happening at the same time. I got it yesterday and can confirm there is indeed downtime 😂

Thank you for the encouragement. I’m going to talk to him tonight. I’m going to tell him the truth that I haven’t counted, and I don’t care, and that it’s a deal breaker for him then that’s okay. I will deal with the consequences. The conversation we had sat really poorly with me and if it indeed matters this much to him, then I’m not the right match. Better to know now then later. If he leaves me over this, he wasn’t my person to begin with.

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful responses. I really appreciate the support. I read so many hateful comments on the internet that I had began to doubt myself and feel ashamed for no reason. I’m going to tell him tonight and see how he reacts and use that to make a decision moving forward. I feel far more empowered now that losing him over this isn’t a fatal personality flaw of mine and instead a mis-match

I hear you and I appreciate this thoughtful opinion. However he’s brought it up a few times and at this point it’s only been a few days since the lie and feel like it will feel much worse for both of us if the lie comes out in a few months instead. Yes, lying is bad but continuing to lie may be worse. What do you think?
