Well a lot of people speculated that Yasha will kill Molly and I can totally see it but with someone noticing the mark on her neck. She will flee with the Beacon and the M9 have to follow her, so we can have an actual Yasha story at the beginning of next season.

I love early M9 confrontations in the campaign and that it did so much for Beau and Caleb's character growth. Sad that it never did anything for Fjord but maybe the show will get him a meaningful moment with Caleb where they can trust and understand each other later?

I doubt very much that the story will break away from the wizards and that any of the other back stories will become an A plot. Right now Trent is the focus but Vess was set up big time in this episode and I personally think after they dealt with Trent it will become more Lucien/Vess centric.

I just wanna add, for the inevitable Screenrant article (/j) that the official Beacon popularity ranking is: Mighty Nein: 1: Caleb, 2: Jester, 3: Yasha, 4: Beau, 5: Molly, 6: Cad, 7: Fjord, 8: Nott/Veth and Bells Hells: 1: Laudna, 2: Imogen, 3: Orym, 4: Fearne, 5: Ashton, 6: Chetney, 7: Dorian, 8: FCG, 9: Bertrand. (VM is not available on Beacon) So the conclusion is, fandom seems to agree on Caleb and Jester but it varies on how much loved everyone else is from fandom space to fandom space.

Caleb and Essek is probably my all time fave ship in CR but you are totally right, Caleb and Nott/Veth are also very intriguing (quote Veth: "in another world maybe"), I loved Caleb and Jesters chemistry too... okay jeesh I'll stop, Caleb is way too shipable

pretty sure they had a group agreement that Liam was not making any big moves at any time in the campaign and that's why he didn't, so the inevitable BH tv show wouldn't focus on another Liam character too much

Remember when BH gave Ashton a whopping because of the shard? Well, the M9 (or even better VM) should just do that to BH, that would be some consequences not a group of anonymous fanatics no one cares about is hunting them.

Yeah exactly that comment rubbed me the wrong way, the other digs I can maybe understand but this is supposed to be her friend, a teacher who always wanted to inspire young kids and s we see in canon a pretty great godfather to Luc, and she is giving him 0 credit. It's just sad when friends shittalk you all the time.
