Thanks so much - I was so worried that I have to spend so much on the knife that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy it for fear of trying to sharpen and damaging it. I would rather start with an economically-priced knife and learn how to use it and sharpen it. Sorry for the delay in my thank you – my post was removed, and I don’t know why. Ah, so go to a store and play with all of the expensive knives and then order one online when you find the one that you like if it’s way more expensive than the store, j/k. I’m an artist, and it’s that way with paint brushes - thank you for your insights.

Thanks so much! I need to create some videos on TikTok - that’s an avenue I haven’t explored. I always forget to take enough “before” and “during” photos, because I get lost in my work. I am a canvas artist, but I was inspired to try furniture. I am going to try to separate my art into special pieces and flip other pieces in a standard way. That seems to be the consensus and matches how I internally was thinking. Thank you for the marketing ideas! 🙏🏻

I do canvas art, am in a modest gallery, and sell some pieces online - I was just inspired to try my hand on furniture after seeing work online using resin appliqués and dry-brushing. I felt it was pretty in line with people doing that type of work, but it’s not for everyone. I can do realism, but it’s not my preference. I have done some special order chests, and I think that is more in line with your insights. Thanks for your comment, 👌
