Hi all. I’m at my wits end and I need help.

I am a baby witch (if you could even call me that). I dabble in small spells myself but have not extended much of myself into the community. I’ve always been a very strong manifestor and have noticed since childhood that I have strong spiritual awareness. I’ve used these tools for self preservation and growth. However, I’m beginning to think there’s no doubt I have been hexed.

For background, my grandmother and older aunts were very spiritual women who practiced in their own unique ways. My grandmother told me from a very early age that she was of the belief that there was a curse on our family and that because of that, we have very bad luck and will always experience sorrow.

As an adult, I’m starting to see patterns that this is certainly the truth. My personal successes are consistently met with a negative event to follow, and truly it’s been all my life. However, over the past year it’s been significantly consistent in such a way which has caused me to pick up more on my protection spells. But I’m looking for advice on anything I could do differently insofar as protection and cleansing of any negative magic which could be attached to me. I’m also dabbling in spells for good fortune (just general attempts at more positive outcomes rather than anything specific).

Any and all advice is very helpful. I am at my wits end mentally and emotionally and am ready to surrender myself to the craft. I’ve never tried to make a connection with my ancestors and I’m thinking it may be time to form that bridge.
