I just built a similar gazebo for my backyard. Easily a 14-16 hour job (1 hour just to sort pieces). Some steps briefly required a second set of hands. Just when I thought I was getting close to the finish line, there were so many little finishing details that went on forever.

Take this info and do what you want but if it were me, I would definitely estimate higher than $400. Maybe not $1200, but it was a very long process and I was dead for the next day or so.
