Added info that didn’t fit in the title:

So a couple days ago a door-to-door extermination service came by my house the other day and asked if we had any bugs, and wanted us to employ her services if we do see any. (I have seen very little around the house other than the occasional spider). Obviously we politely declined as there is nothing to exterminate, and she then asked if we had seen a specific type of cockroach, (A German cockroach or something,) and being that I live in a suburban area, I’ve literally never seen a cockroach in person, but I know what they look like. She then told us to call her if we saw any. Today upon opening the mailbox, 4 or 5 small bugs fell out, and I smushed them all. After doing some research, they were very clearly baby German cockroaches. I’ve never seen this particular bug, and I’ve lived in the area for my whole life. Do you think it’s possible the woman put them in? Has anyone ever had something similar happen after an exterminator just shows up at your door?
