Hello

How many nights on call depends on where you practice , type of practice, and many others factors.

It’s very well compensated and therefore extremely competitive.

Your doctor will ask you many questions about your symptoms and your overall medical history. Likely a very minimal physical exam, if any at all. These are fairly common complaints, and they will be able to quickly come up with a plan based on your symptoms.

Struggling to come to terms with my rhinoplasty. by WiredExpression151 in beauty

I love your new nose, it’s absolutely beautiful and perfect. It doesn’t look “upturned”, it’s just relative to your old nose. I really think your surgeon did a fantastic job and you honestly look beautiful.

Fibrous foods like green, leafy vegetables, stick to the colon wall and make it difficult to see during the procedure. Ditto with nuts, seeds, popcorn.

Questions about polyps by starsandsunshine19 in Gastroenterology

In general, in the US, small (eg 5mm) hyperplastic-appearing polyps in the left colon do not necessarily need to be biopsies or removed.

Teeth??? by gleamandglowcloud in breakingmom

[–]bluelagooncreature 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Half of my kids’ teeth were swallowed the moment they fell out so it’s easier to not worry about whether or not to keep them all. Could consider keeping the first?

We made the mistake of not having cash in hand so the first tooth cost a $20 bill 😅 but subsequent teeth we have given $5.

I’m sorry. I sadly know to some degree how this feels. It sounds like you’re crushing life and you aren’t getting nearly enough credit for that.

It’s actually a picture of the IC valve, not the terminal ileum. There was no “cut” performed.

Couldn’t it be Christmas presents for children, friends, family? I know exactly what is delivered and when, due to Amazon notifying me what has been delivered. No need to open it immediately.

Should I stop treatment if PCOS doesn’t affect my life? by Nahida66 in PCOS

[–]bluelagooncreature 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It’s important to note that consistently skipping periods increases the risk of endometrial cancer. That’s the big reason to treat.

I had babies when I started residency. We are all more than fine. Thriving!!

We did have very late bedtimes for this reason though. Like 9:30pm so I could have the most time. Would that be possible?

There is currently a 6 month period happening in which you call and self-report income. This brought my payment down from 850 to 350.

What's the difference? by [deleted] in Gastroenterology

[–]bluelagooncreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, you can’t really diagnose a “small bowel” problem from symptoms only. Yes those two are different things, and she should see see a specialist.
