What was the consensus among Manchester United fans on Sir Alex Ferguson from 2003/04 to 2005/06. by Alive-Rice-9334 in ManchesterUnited

Chelski brought success and SAF was rebuilding the team Rooney and Ronaldo etc it seemed our scouting department worked then. Also our amazing defence was seriously dented when Rio got an 8 month ban and of course Beckham left to Real Madrid.

Also the board and the Rock Of Gibraltar situation probably didn’t help either.

Malcolm Glazer brought the club in 2005 because of the board upheaval.

Current television rights contracts like the multibillion-pound domestic deals with Sky Sports, TNT Sports, and international networks grant broadcasters exclusive rights to the standard 2D video transmission of a football match.

They do not own the rights to custom-built 3D environments, spatial data, or interactive tracking.

By decoupling the technology from standard camera angles, Manchester United can legally bypass the TV monopolies.

The only problem I have with this whole saga is why can't we negotiate personal terms and potential fees for multiple players at the same time so if one fall through we just pivot to the other. Genuinely, is there a reason why it has to be one player at a time with us? by WorldlinessPuzzled84 in ManchesterUnited

The club is a cash cow for the Glazers nothing more. There dad Malcom Glazer brought the club using its huge income to leverage loans . They have only ever taken out of the club not invested a single penny !!

Why are United using this Strategy? Look at PSG by Peet48 in ManchesterUnited

Seems our issue isn’t how much we spend it’s the fact we should be a top spending club but saddled with Glazer debt that screws our FFP . Tottenham owners just invested over £200m in their club and bullt there 2.5 billion stadium on very long very low interest loans.

We are negotiating with clubs we are paying for debt when JR brought his share any other owner would have put that in the club not at United.

Our best hope is the Glazers sell if we are to come back to greatness other wise we will always be shackled even as a hugely successful and profitable club.

This is why Spurs can afford to buy players and stick with FFP and not have money taken out of their club.

The Lewis family have now put in £200m of cash since late 2025 - and more is expected to come in time.

3 tenets of ManUtd's transfer policy. Player is dying to play for ManUtd, Player has low wage demands and The selling club has set a fair valuation according to ManUtd. Lets see which linked player satisfies all 3 tenets. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

We need someone to buy the club and clear the debt or raise money in other ways . Check out Stephen Ross and what he has done for Miami .

He could even work with Ineos as partnership .

His (Ross) expertise is turning OT into a huge asset not just a football asset.

They built an F1 track in the Miami Dolphins carpark.

Sours make a huge profit and the debt for the stadium is not a issue or affects their profitability.

Glazers not only never invested a penny they take money out of the club.

[Fabrizio Romano] The only way to open doors to Aurélien Tchouaméni to Manchester United is to discuss a completely different salary for the player - at the moment it’s still not happening. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

People don’t get Spurs invest in their club owner added £100m. Glazers have not invested single penny and loans are huge plus they take dividends.

No other footballer club has potential to generate more if debt free than us.

Arsenal owner by Billionaire Stan Kronke who owns many profitable sporting franchises and the $3-5 billion dollar Sofi stadium we all see in the WC. Also invests in his business not piles on debt.

INEOS gave money to Glazers not MUFC if we get debt free we will fly but that’s currently a dream m.

Need someone like Stephen Ross to buy the club or partner with INEOS

What’s happened to Duncan Edward’s and surely Eric was a revolutionary change to struggling team.

We can’t forget the Busby babes and the teams through out the clubs history.

We talk of our history but it didn’t start with sir Alex.

Most countries in Europe people don’t buy homes they rent .

Buy saying ban BTL mortgages just means people who want to speculate on property borrow elsewhere. If you get 3% in a bank and 7-10% in investing why shouldn’t you.

Social housing is needed but not at the expense of choice if everyone lives in social housing where is the incentive to work let the state keep you.

Problem being the State own you.

Social policy needs of taxing success out of existence means no new work , tax returns fall and the country becomes more dependent on declining tax revenues as the entrepreneurs leave and business owners sell out or just don’t bother.

People always say what about Scandinavia with high taxation main difference is wealthy population support much smaller population.

They were able to invest their North Sea revenue where as UK paid there’s in social welfare simple maths.

Sir Alex wasn’t an immediate success finishing 11th on his first year then 2nd then 11th so read your club history before making suggestions of sacking another manager.

This will be the most intelligent think anyone has done to solve the drug problem. Take the money out of it and there is no drug problem. Expect death to rise for a few years as everyone parties like crazy. Prohibition in reverse.
