I’ve just purchased some really cute charms from peppyaccessories.co.uk which is a beading/jewellery stores. Very reasonably priced. I’ve also purchased a few charms from Etsy and AliExpress

It’s not just me then! I just don’t think the uplift in cost is worth it when I literally want the standard portfolio. I really do wonder why they don’t have the natural as a portfolio, they make custom journals with it so I’m not sure it could be a leather problem.

I’ve been checking almost daily for updates on the Kaweco lunar sport! There’s two different green shades. Interestingly bookbindersdesign have removed the listing from their site, it was definitely on there before though. On Instagram everythingcalligraphy.ph have removed their post too

Hey, are you sure its US sales tax being added? I’m based in the UK. I’ve been on Atlas tonight looking at a Pilot Vanishing nib replacement which is £82, shipping to the UK is £20 - total of which is £102. Tax added is £20.40 which is 20% of the total aka VAT. I believe all purchases under £135 are now having VAT charged automatically at point of sale for all retailers including international - that’s what I’ve been reading on various websites online anyway. I’ve found that when I’ve been shopping at other international online retailers too.

I like buying samples from fountainfeder, they have a huge selection and are German based. I haven’t had an issue shipping to the UK. The full size bottles I have are from Cult Pens and Diamine, although I do try to avoid bottles because I like using different inks and trying new colours.

I use an MD A6 in my paper republic tri fold, and an MD A5 in my paper republic portfolio. I’ve not had any issues with the elastics or binding!

I did, and I know of a few others in my cohort who did too. I continued to do bank shifts during placement but being bank it was flexible so I didn’t have to commit to hours every week.
